New Specifications for Nested Communications and More

FDI_logo_red

This release introduces a standardized approach for implementing nested communications in FDI, enabling Host Applications (FDI Servers) to access end devices through intermediate networking infrastructure.

For developers, the new specifications define how switches, gateways, remote I/O and other communication devices are represented and integrated within FDI, providing a common mechanism for reaching end devices across mixed-topology architectures.
