Rigorous Procedures To Ensure Interoperability

FieldComm Group primarily focuses on ensuring interoperability among vendors, networks, devices, and host systems. To achieve this, it has established an independent testing process. Accredited test sites are equipped with the dtmINSPECTOR test for FDT/DTMs, which verifies compliance with FDT specifications. This process provides end-users with greater peace of mind.

The Registration Process

The FDT/DTM certification process is divided into three main phases: the test setup, the registration test and the test completion. Once an FDT-accredited Test Site determines that an FDT/DTM has “passing results,” it notifies the FieldComm Group Registration Office. The FDT/DTM then receives the official FDT Certified logo acknowledging specification compliance.

For more information on testing and registration of FDT/DTMs please create a support ticket.

NOTE: A standard certification for FDT 2.x DTMs and FDT 3.0 DTMs are restricted to using DTM Common Components.

Accredited Test Sites

FieldComm Group Accredited Test Sites across the globe perform systematic tests during the FDT/DTM registration procedure, dramatically reducing the probability of interoperability issues and helping avoid potential integration costs and project delays for the end-user.
